Build an Offshore Scene from the Surface to the Seabed
Explore a layered offshore engineering scene with this semi-submersible drilling platform building set. Assemble a detailed surface platform above transparent subsea panels, chain elements and a rocky seabed cross-section.
With 1,064 pieces and a distinctive vertical design, this offshore oil rig building set brings industrial detail to a desk, shelf or model collection.
Three Layers of Offshore Detail
This oil rig model building kit combines the surface structure and the scene below it in one vertical display. Each layer adds a different part of the offshore setting.
Surface Platform
Build the drilling tower, yellow platform, green deck sections and crane details that give the model its industrial silhouette.
Transparent Subsea Section
See chain elements, a central vertical structure and underwater scene details through the transparent blue-green panels.
Seabed Cross-Section
Complete the scene with a rocky base and an open cross-section showing the model’s below-seabed details.
Discover the Engineering-Inspired Details
From the tower above the deck to the chains inside the subsea section, this drilling platform building set offers details to examine throughout the build. Pipes, structural supports and layered platforms create a technical appearance without hiding the scene beneath the surface.
- A tall drilling tower above the platform.
- Crane arms, pipe details and deck structures.
- Chain elements visible through transparent panels.
- A rocky seabed base with a cutaway-style opening.
A Detailed Building Project
Assemble the offshore scene step by step, following the included instructions. The 1,064-piece build combines a structural base, transparent panels and smaller platform details.
Sort your parts before starting and check connections as each section takes shape. Building time varies with experience and pace.
A Vertical Industrial Display
Display the finished oil rig model on a stable desk, shelf or hobby-room surface where its layered structure can be viewed clearly.
The contrast between the yellow platform, blue-green panels and gray seabed base makes each section easy to distinguish.
